After a long career with Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad I was ready to make a change. Having made several moves during my career with BNSF we bought and sold several houses. With each move I learned from the agents what it took to be a good and a bad agent. One that works for the client and one that works for their commission. One of life’s greatest pleasures for me is serving others. If I earn your business I will work hard to make sure your needs are met when buying and selling a home.

I grew up in Colorado and moved to the Ft Worth area in 2006. I have lived in New Mexico, Nebraska, Iowa, Wyoming and now Texas. I married in 1973 and my wife and I raised two young men. We enjoyed doing family activities when the children were young and loved going someplace new just for the weekend. In 2009 my wife passed away and I was alone for the first time. In 2013 I met Kim, my current wife, and together we have 4 young men. I understand the joys and rewards of being married a long time and also the joys and rewards of a blended family.

After retiring from BNSF my wife and I decided to move to the Cedar Creek area. I started working with Coldwell Banker American Dream Realtor. I missed my volunteer work with the homeless, that I was doing in Ft. Worth, so I started to volunteer at Henderson County Homeless Ministry. Working with those that are either homeless or lower income can be very rewarding. The smiles and hugs you get is a reward all in its own and there is no describing the joy we get when someone or a family starts getting their life on a path to success. I also joined the Cedar Creek Rotary club and am looking forward to getting involved with their charity events.

I enjoy spending time with my wife and we have set aside one day a week that is our date day. We enjoy going to movies, riding the bike where ever the road takes us, and going to antique shops.
